The skills and abilities are essential with:
Communication Skills (verbal & Written)
Good social and interpersonal skills
Ability to work within a team
Ability to be a one-to-one carer
Observation skills
Recognition of confidentiality
Ability to use own initiative is desrable
Along with experience of working with older people, working within a team and working within a day care setting.
Relevent SVQ or equivalent is desirable.
Moving and Handling desirable
